HIROBIA
Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to apply for jobs and take interviews with HIROBIA, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, captions, or other assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA on every page candidates use. Last updated 16 October 2026.
What you can expect
- Pages work with a keyboard alone and with screen readers. Pop-ups are announced, and new interview questions and check results are read out.
- In AI interviews, everything the interviewer says is also shown as text on screen.
- Text meets contrast guidelines, and pages can be zoomed. If your device asks for less motion, animations are switched off.
- Pages are available in English, Hindi, Spanish, Malayalam and Arabic, when the employer offers them. Arabic reads right to left.
Adjustments for your interview
You can ask the employer for adjustments before your interview, for example:
- Extra time: 25%, 50% or double
- Typing your answers instead of speaking them
- Longer pauses before the AI interviewer moves on
- Relaxed camera and screen checks
- A different interview format, such as a conversation with a person, where the employer can offer one
To ask, use the link on your application status page, or reply to your interview invitation. You don't have to explain your disability, only what would help. Employers are asked not to let a request affect how your application is assessed.
Known limits
- Video interviews need a camera and microphone unless an adjustment is agreed.
- The photo ID upload step uses a file-upload control that we are still testing with screen readers. If it doesn't work for you, ask for help and we will find another way.
- Documents employers upload, such as job descriptions, may not be fully accessible.
Tell us about a problem
If something on these pages doesn't work for you, please tell us. Say which page and what happened, and we will help you finish your application or interview another way. Contact the recruiter who invited you.
We are working on this continuously. This statement was prepared from our own review of the pages. An independent review and testing with assistive technology are planned.
